Cardi B Thinks A 'Tiger King' Star Gave The Bronx Zoo Tiger Coronavirus

Cardi B's taken her Tiger King obsession to another level!

After news broke that Nadia, a tiger at the Bronx Zoo in New York, became the first of her kind to test positive for the coronavirus over the weekend, Cardi jokingly shared that she knew exactly how the wild animal contracted the virus.

"I'll tell you how .........CAROL F**KIN BASKIN," she hilariously commented — referring to the owner of Big Cat Rescue from Netflix's breakout docu-series Tiger King — on an Instagram post about the tiger testing positive for COVID-19.

As fans know, Cardi has been obsessed with the series for weeks and she even live-tweeted her experience watching the show. At one point, she even tweeted that she was "Bout to start a gofundme account for Joe [Exotic]," vowing that "He shall be free." However, TMZ later published an article explaining how that would not be possible.

"Money CANNOT be raised on [GoFundMe] to fund the defense of inmates convicted of violent crimes, plain and simple," the outlet reported. "It's in [the platform's] terms of service and everyone, including Cardi, who uses GoFundMe has to abide."

While many were ready to see Cardi fight for Joe's freedom —he's currently serving a 22-year prison sentence — she responded to TMZ's article, saying she never actually had plans to help free him. "Omg 😩😩😩😂😂I was just playing," she wrote on Twitter, responding to TMZ's tweet of their article. "I do love him tho and he deff needed better representation .oooooooooooooooooo here Kitty Kitty."
