Drake and 21 Savage continue their unconventional promo run by delivering rare visuals for their joint album's intro.
On Wednesday, November 16, the OVO Sound founder dropped a recap of his travels with 21 Savage to the tune of "Rich Flex." The footage appears to be shot by Drake himself, who's been spotted out filming with a vintage camcorder. Drake includes behind-the-scenes video of him and 21 performing together at Morehouse-Spelman's homecoming concert, and his surprise appearance at Lil Weezyana Fest. There are also cameos from Lil Yachty and Jack Harlow, who've worked with Drizzy with year.
The visuals come after the "Treacherous Twins" rappers delivered unique videos for their other hits off Her Loss. They previously dropped their own version of A COLORS SHOW for "Privileged Rappers," and did a mock SNL performance for their "On BS" video. So far, they haven't seen any wild backlash for utilizing both brands for their music videos unlike Vogue, who recently filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against both rappers.
The magazine's owner Conde Nast recently said that they have a good case after Drake and 21 Savage used a faux Vogue cover to promote their joint album last month. A source close to Drake's camp said that both artists were shocked by the lawsuit, especially since the other brands they used for promo went along with their idea.
With the lawsuit aside, Her Loss did pretty well upon its release. Their joint LP debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and sold 404,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Watch their new visuals above.
