Kid Cudi and Summer Walker are joining other artists and fans who have questioned the latest round of Grammy nominations.

In a tweet he sent out on Wednesday, November 16, Cudi reflected on his stance regarding the Grammy awards. The Cleveland native, who just dropped his new album Entergalactic back in September, feels like his music has been ignored by the Recording Academy for at least a decade. However, he's not too upset over not receiving a nod this year. He's focused on earning other type of awards, like an Emmy for example, especially after the success of his accompanying Netflix series with the same name.

Music award shows have been virtually ignoring me for over 10 years," Cudi tweeted. "I see people upset that I didnt get a nom but its ok yall. The acting world will be kinder to me. Im already winning awards for Entergalactic and when Emmy season comes around, we'll see what time it is. 😌"

"The music was a hugeeee part of Entergalactic, and people wouldnt be raving about the event if the music wasnt on the level," he continued. "So dont even trip yall. I know this album was beautiful, I know I gave it my all, and I know what I did with Netflix is something that changes the game."

Kid Cudi wasn't the only one who felt some type of way after the nominations were announced. Fans of Summer Walker instantly took to social media to vent their frustrations after the singer was snubbed for a second time. Even though her 2021 album Still Over It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and received plenty of praise from the masses, Walker still wasn't nominated.

“As for the grammys for a 2nd time, the math is literally not mathing,” the R&B singer wrote on her Instagram Story earlier this week. “I was gone post some numbers but it’s ok, atleast the streets f*q with me. y’all always pack out every show & support everytime I drop so thanks for the love I do receive.”

“Thanks for all the overflowing love in my dm’s," she added.

Cudi and Walker are just a few of the artists who reacted after they were snubbed by the Recording Academy. Fans also complained that Nicki Minaj wasn't nominated at all despite releasing new music all year. They were also upset that Freddie Gibbs, Smino and other rap artists weren't considered despite releasing some of the best work of their careers.
