Drake is still confident he's the G.O.A.T despite the way his beef with Kendrick Lamar ended.
On Sunday night, June 9, Drizzy sent his fans into a frenzy after he uploaded some new photos of himself. His fresh flicks show him supporting his young son Adonis during a recent soccer game. The soccer dad was spotted on the sidelines wearing a lavish fit that comprised of a cream-colored t-shirt, brown wide-legged trousers and belt with a white sweater tied around his neck. While his ensemble had people talking, Drake also had fans convinced that he shaded K. Dot in his caption.
"Goats donβt worry about one trick ponies," Drizzy wrote.
Drake got plenty of support from numerous artists in his comment section. His bestie Sexyy Red thought the photos were "Fyreeeee" while Ice Spice said he "ate." Meanwhile, some fans criticized Drake for seemingly referring to Kendrick as a "one trick pony."
"Drake calling Dot a 'One trick ponie' is funny when he used the same flow from FPS on Family Matters and thought it was enough π," one fan wrote. "Ainβt no way ppl ever believed this nigga was more versatile than Kendrick Lamar π the boy been getting carried by his beats for years now."
The post comes shortly after Drake removed all traces of his back-and-forth with Kendrick from his Instagram. Fans noticed the 37-year-old artist took down posts that promoted songs like "The Heart Part 6," "Family Matters," and "Push Ups." The records are still live on streaming platforms, but it looks like Drizzy didn't want to give Kendrick any more free promo on his IG page.
Fans think Drake shaded Kendrick Lamar ahead of the Compton rapper's forthcoming show on Juneteenth. "The Pop Out β Ken & Friends" concert is happening next Wednesday at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. It will be Kendrick's first performance since his beef with Drizzy concluded so it's possible he'll perform diss tracks like "Euphoria" and "Not Like Us" live. The sold-out show is set to be livestreamed on Twitch and Amazon Prime.
