6ix9ine thinks he's been framed after federal agents said they found drugs and a weapon inside his home when they raided his home earlier this year.

The troubled artist appeared in a Florida court on Monday, April 21, where the Assistant United States Attorney revealed how federal agents found prohibited items inside his mansion in Palm Beach County. The AUSA claimed an unnamed source led the feds on a hunt through his home, where they found MDMA, a bag with cocaine residue in it, and a Glock handgun that was stored in the pool house.

The "FEFE" rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, was placed in handcuffs while they searched his mansion back in March. At the time, authorities claimed the search warrant was executed as part of a probation check. The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office Narcotics team took samples of his DNA and rummaged through the artist's belongings before they found the items in question. Hernandez maintained his innocence and was released from custody after the search ended.

6ix9ine and his attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that the feds' confidential source might be a former friend of the rapper's who planted the drugs and weapon inside his home. He's adamant that he's not guilty and will continue to fight the charges he's facing. A judge will decide on the next course of action for 6ix9ine on May 22. For now, guns and ammo are banned from his property.
