Bad Boys 4 is on the way!
The film starring Will Smith & Martin Lawrence, was never stalled following Smith’s Oscar slapped.
“That was inaccurate… That movie’s been in development and still is,” Sony Chairman Tom Rothman stated. “There weren’t any brakes to pump because the car wasn’t moving.”
After the Oscars slap, it was believed the film was placed on hold.
“That was a very unfortunate thing that happened, and I don’t think it’s really my place to comment, except to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years, and I know him to be a good person. That was an example of a very good person having a very bad moment, in front of the world. I believe his apology and regret is genuine, and I believe in forgiveness and redemption.” Rothman added.
Following the slap heard around the world, Chris Rock's ticket sales for his comedy tour spiked!
TickPick sold more tickets to Rock’s comedy tour in one night following the incident at the Oscars, as prices surged, going from a minimum of $46 a ticket to $341.
“We sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined,” the ticket website tweeted.
Will Smith was comforted by Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry, when the Oscars went to break.
The two led him to his table, where Will is said to have been wiping tears from his eyes. This came after Will Smith smacked Chris Rock in the face, after the comedian made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith.
Chris was presenting for Best Documentary, when he fired off zingers to the crowd, and eventually Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Chris said he couldn't wait to see 'G.I. Jane 2' which got Will to storm the stage and literally smack rock in the face.
"Wow. Will Smith just smacked the s*** outta me," a stunned Rock exclaimed.
ABC muted, Will shouting "Keep my wife's name out your f****** mouth" twice to Chris.
Chris gained his composure again and carried on with handing out the Oscar, but the room was left tense.
Needless to say the internet is a buzz in the aftermath.
