Michael Jackson’s estate is in a deal worth a possible BILLION Dollars for his music catalog. Sony is looking to buy 50% of the estate’s interest in Jackson’s publishing, music revenues, the “MJ: The Musical” Broadway show, and the upcoming “Michael” biopic “Michael.
MJ’s estate would never sell 100% of the catalog, but a 50/50 deal would work if they retained 100% management and control of the record.
The deal will become the biggest music catalog purchase in history, surpassing Bruce Springsteen's, who sold his for $500 million to Sony.
