Kendrick Lamar has had major success recently. He won five Grammys in February for his Drake diss, "Not Like Us." He also performed part of the song at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. He may perform at the 2028 LA Olympics too. Casey Wasserman leads the Olympics organizing committee. He told the Associated Press about plans for the 2028 Summer Games. He hinted that the Compton rapper might appear. "I represent Kendrick Lamar," he said. "He's an L.A. icon. So, he'll likely be involved in the L.A. Olympics."
He didn't give more details. But fans are still excited. This news comes before Kendrick and SZA start their "Grand National" tour on April 19 in Minneapolis. The tour will visit Houston, Seattle, and Atlanta. It also includes Los Angeles and Chicago. The North American leg ends in June. The international part starts in July.
Kendrick Lamar also featured on Playboi Carti's new album, MUSIC. He raps on "GOOD CREDIT." He seems to mention Drake's lawsuit against UMG. "The numbers says nothing, the money is nothing, I really been held my promise," he raps. "Say Kenny been heavy out West and I carry the weight, n***a, I'm Luka Dončić."
