Young Buck Claims He was Supposed to Play Tupac in "All Eyez on Me"

Ummm, so yeah, this happened. During a recent interview, former G-Unit rapper Young Buck said that he was supposed to play Tupac in the All Eyez On Me biopic.

“People don’t know this, but I was supposed to play Pac,” Buck told his interviewer. “I didn’t get as far as going to read the scripts and things of that nature, but I was lined up as one of those guys to play Tupac.”

Then, Buck revealed that the prominent role was given to him. He didn't have to audition for it. ”I was told I was given the role without the audition…until Pac himself came along.”

We know, we know. We're scratching our heads, too. Not only do Buck and Pac not resemble. But, Buck is from down south. How could someone with a strong southern accent have portrayed Pac, who was born in Harlem before he gained popularity when he lived in California? No shade, but even the best acting coach would've had difficulty making Buck hide his accent, throughout the entire film. Also, Pac deserves a great actor to play him. Not to insult Buck on his acting skills. But... come on now.

What do you think? Would Buck have done Pac justice, if he portrayed him?
