A woman has come forward to reveal that she had a sexual relationship with R. Kelly when she was only 16 years old.
This new interview is published on Buzzfeed and was written by Jim DeRogatis, the same journalist who wrote the first viral article about Kelly's alleged sex cult that houses "brainwashed" women. In this new sit-down, a woman named Jerhonda Pace -- whose name was Jerhonda Johnson before she married -- admitted that the R&B singer made her sign a nondisclosure agreement about their past relationship. However, she now feels the urge to speak up because of the surfacing stories about his "cult."
Pace said that she would skip her high school classes to go to Kelly's 2008 child pornography trial. That's when she befriended one of Kelly's employees who later invited her to one of the singer's parties. From there, she became close with Kellz and started a sexual relationship. At first, she told him that she was 19. But after their relationship continued, Pace showed Kelly her I.D. and admitted her real age, 16. The now 24-year-old said that Kelly looked at it and said that it was OK, and that she should keep their relationship a secret. He even went so far as to tell Pace to "act like she was 25."
"I had to call him ‘daddy,’ and he would call me ‘baby.’ He wanted me to have two pigtails, and I had to go out and find little schoolgirl outfits," she told Buzzfeed.
Pace also revealed that their affair soon turned violent. "I was slapped and I was choked and I was spit on," she added. Pace said that she was also forced to ask for permission to eat, use the restroom, leave his property and more.
She's now saying that Kelly could most likely sue her because she's revealing all of this. But, she's doing this because she hopes that her story can help the girls who are still under his control in his "cult." In fact, one of her old friends -- who was 17 when she first met Kelly -- is still at one of the singer's properties today. "I know speaking out against Kelly, Kelly could sue me. But I’m really not worried about it anymore," Pace said. "I feel like this is a healing process for me, because I've been holding this in for so many years, and to see that he always gets away with it, it’s just not right. I’m just going forward with my head held high."
