On Thursday (Feb. 1), actress Tisha Campbell-Martin coyly confirmed that a "Martin" reboot is definitely on the way and countless fans immediately got excited.
“It’s surprising that people still love those characters so much. I can’t tell you anything but’s really exciting,” the actress while flashing a big smile. “I can’t tell you, but it has been an honor to be Gina for all these years.”
Now, we can see that TMZ caught up with her, as well as Martin Lawrence and Tichina Arnold. The trio were acting really slick about the reboot. But, the outlet managed to get some tea from them. "I don't think we have to do it the same way," Lawrence answered when the photographer asked him if the new reboot will have all of the same attributes as the original show from the 1990s. "I just think we have to be funny and we have to be entertaining, and give people heartfelt stories."
When asked if the new show will talk about politics, Arnold said: "We would definitely want to be current. We're not trying to relive anything. We wanna give credence to the past and show how the past has evolved and made us into who we are."
