Are you vegan curious? A new survey found that 50% of respondents said they were curious about a vegan diet. However, while lots of people are interested in a vegan diet, there’s one thing stopping them. A survey found that 60% of respondents said they would explore plant-based eating … if the options were tastier. Of those who tried going plant-based, 17% said they didn’t stay with it because they thought the food lacked flavor/taste (28%) and there weren’t enough options (23%).
According to the survey, most people who tried a plant-based diet only lasted 3 months. Maybe that’s why the flexitarian diet [mostly plant-based but also meat on occasion] is so popular. 75% said they want to be more flexible with being plant-based rather than fully committing to it.
